From Las Brozas, La Jara and Lebratinos vineyards over 50 years old on sandy loam soils. Each plot is harvested separately in the second half of September for quick transfer to the winery. Aged in Bordeaux French oak barrels for at least 9 months and rounded off in the bottle for 10 months.

Soils : very poor sandy loam.
Low yield over 4,000 kgs per hectare.
Manual collection in boxes of 20 kilos.
Strict table selection .
Cold maceration for 5 days.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25ºC.
Malolactic fermentation in tank.
Aged in 225-litre French oak Bordeaux barrels for 9 months.
Aging in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months before going on the market.

Description

Intense purple in color with violet hues, on the nose it is intense and fruity with hints of blackberry and black fruit, as primary aromas from the passage through French oak barrels, it distills aromas of vanilla, cocoa and toffee.

On the palate it is well structured, fleshy, long and with friendly and ripe tannins in which the red fruit predominates and the wood is very well integrated.
